    FISHERMAN HERITAGE

    100% Canadian manufacturing

To create our yarn, we used wool fibers from sheep and lambs belonging to the Corriedale and Rideau Arcott breeds (Canadian sheep breed). This wool was harvested from different breeders in Prince Edward Island, but comes mainly from the herd belonging to the spinning mill that spun the wool.
Our premium yarn is spun in a small family spinning mill in Prince Edward Island and only GOTS certified organic dyes have been used for dyeing.
The wool provides resistance, waterproofness and warmth, and our unique blend of fibers with lambswool ensures extreme softness and cancels the tingling sensation of traditional wool.
Knitting is done with the utmost respect for Quebec know-how. Each garment is handcrafted, making each toque unique. We take the time to manufacture each item with care and precision, in order to guarantee you a high quality product, durable, well adjusted and comfortable.

By working with local producers and artisans, we provide jobs and help the local economy. Each worker was fairly and practically remunerated for their activity in humane, safe and respectful conditions. We are committed to following all fair labor standards and practices so that you can wear our clothes in peace.
