NATURAL CANADIAN WOOL
This range of accessories is hand made, in a traditional way.
All products are in 100% pure virgin wool (no fiber blend) made
from natural untreated wool sourced on Prince Edward Island
(Canada) from happy sheep. We ensure that our fibres come
from only the best breedings and we support the local producers
and encourage the expansion of their local fibreshed.
The main breeding raise sheep in a natural way and ensure
only pesticide-free food. This flock is raised on the pasture
which allows to obtain a wool particularly refined, soft and silky.
ORGANIC DYEINGThe wool is spun in a small mill still on PEI using a
gentle process to preserve the natural variation and
luster of the fibre. The pasture raising practices mean
the animal’s true qualities shine through yarns.
The yarns are hand dyed using only a dye which is
non-hazardous, non-chrome, low impact, heavy metal-free.
It's also conform to the Organic Trade Association's
standards for Organic Fiber Processing and GOTS certified.
HAND MADE IN QUEBEC
The design is made in Montreal, following the traditional
fisherman's beanie style, then the production is
entirely knitted and sewn by hand in Quebec City.
The knitting is made respecting the greatest know-how of
Quebec thanks to our knitter who has more than 50 years of
experience in manual and mechanical knitting. Each model is
manufactured on a semi-manual machine and sewn by hand,
making them unique pieces. We take the time to craft each
item neatly and accurately, to ensure the best quality with
a sustainable, well-fitted and comfortable product.
LABELLING & PACKAGING
All our embroidered woven labels are made in a
workshop in Toronto, as well as our recyclable plastic
packaging used to ship the parcels.
